Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

While my dad was here for 5 days, we were able to go some really cool places and see some awesome things. It was nice to hang out with him and finally speak some English! Although he told me that my English has turned into "survival" mode. Who cares if I leave out the unnecessary words?
The Nepali's understand me fine if I say "toilet where?"

Some pictures from our adventures:

Pashupatinath: sacred cremation sight

Actual cremation at Pashupatinath.

Swimming in the water where they dump the remains of the burned bodies.
Yummy.

Kathmandu Valley.

Monkey Temple

Nagarkot.

Sun rays.

Sunrise.

Himalayas.

New friend from Nepal who is blind and still listens to all my dad's interviews.

SAV School

Thanks for the beautiful time, Dad. I loved having you here!

Oh my Goodness! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful times were had by you and your Dad. What a treasure for you both. I can't wait to get him home and to hear all about it. I'm just praying that he doesn't bring back any BED BUGS!
Love the new look of the blog and awesome photos. You have a gift.
LOVE YOU ALWAYS, Mom

Great photos! Who's the old guy?

Your "pidgin" English really is a crack up. I think I memorized the negotiation and direction-giving with the taxi drivers. "You know white house? You know kfa?"

Loved being with you. Hope you're enjoying having some private time now that your companion has left!
